Just checked the NWT road website today, roads rated for 35,000 KG, so with luck should be ready by the end of next week.

Hopefully, it will be a good season, 2 1/2 to 3 months would be the best. Was 6 weeks last year, too short.

Well here it is, my haul route. Lotta country & not much for road. The dotted lines are "WINTER" roads...meaning on the ice. The y do NOT exhist except in winter!

Canadian Arctic... LOL 250,000 square miles of land...less than 1000 miles of road!

Oh man, not looking forward to tonight's trip. Just checked the road reports for the North...definitely NOT good. High wind avisory for the whole north. Temps falling to -30's. Should be used to it by now...it is JANUARY!
Wonder if they will ban Rocky's tonight, I sure hope so if roads are as bad as they say.
I'm REALLY tired of winter. BAHHHH!! HUMBUG!!!

Well here it is! My life as a Professional Driver.

Has definitely been the week from hell! Fort Mac last Sunday, 5 trips to Manning then on to Hay River, NWT. WHEW! 4900+miles over 7000kms! And people wonder why I am TIRED! Finally got home at 2 this afternoon. Life of a truck driver!

Finally got new internet service hooked up on Wednesday, new email configered today, compared to dial-up this is definitely SWEET! :-)

This is UNBELIEVABLE!! Once again new internet service is not being installed. Don't know what their excuse is this time, but dob't want to hear it.

Good weekend..Kids out for the night. Good food, family & friends. Just as it should be.

Cold and snowing again today. Not looking forward to going to work tonight. probable Ft Mac. Ick. Hate going there, road sucks, too many fools.

Well, here we go...waiting again. No show on new internet installer... again. Waiting for *another* appointment. SHEESH

Am po'd. Supposed to get satelitte internet service installed today. Apparently installers truck broke down!!! Too bad nobody even bothered to call. So when was 2 hours late I called satelitte company & sat on hold for 20 minutes while they tried to find out what was going on. And I took a DAY OFF for this????
The total LACK of customer service around here drive's me nuts!!!
